International Trade Specialist ( SOMENTE PARA MINERACAO) Role Overview Confidential client is seeking an experienced Senior Trader – Ores & Ferro Alloys to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and selling a wide range of ores across South America, working closely with our trading team while ensuring ethical and compliant business practices throughout the supply chain. Key Responsibilities Source and trade various ores including copper, gold, silver, cassiterite, tantalite, and other minerals Manage the end-to-end trading process, from procurement to final delivery , including: Logistics coordination Quality control Legal and regulatory compliance Build and maintain strong relationships with miners, suppliers, buyers, and logistics partners Assist in trading book management, shipment tracking, and discrepancy reporting Collaborate with internal teams to optimize trading strategies and execution Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in the ore and/or ferro alloy trading business Deep knowledge of the mining industry with strong market connections In-depth understanding of the Brasilian and South American markets Background with global leading trading houses or independent trading experience Solid knowledge of LME hedging processes Strong computer skills for trade management systems Fluency in English & Portuguese Preferred Qualifications Experience in selling ferro alloys to steel mills and foundries Established network with producers and end users in the region Localização Hibrid Sao Paulo - Capital Equal Opportunity World Metal and Alloy Ventures is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion
