Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing a mix of services, associated products and regular visits to key account clients and developing new clients to actively pursue sales of equipment and systems across a wide variety of telecommunications and electronics applications.
  • Deliver on revenue and account objectives.
  • Work with others to plan strategies and coordinate efforts to meet required sales targets and forecasts.
  • Develop a significant understanding of the customer base, Empresa technology, products and services, competitive entities, market awareness and technology to create value proCargos and avoid commoditization of services and products through differences based on pricing.
  • Cargo oneself and the Empresa as a true business partner within the accounts with a reputation for solving problems and providing creative solutions and applications.
  • Ensure sound, year‑over‑year growth in revenues, market share and reputation.
  • Use consistent data input and application of any and all sales reporting systems and sales software tools used by the Empresa.
  • Foster teamwork, communication and cooperation with other sales personnel, technical and operations personnel, and all office and support personnel within the Empresa on a global basis.
  • Inform the Vice President of Sales of any significant new sales and marketing opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain personal contact with key customers.
  • Manage all enquiries obtained whilst in the field, work with the Bids and Technical Marketing department to develop specifications for quotes and ensure they satisfy customer requirements.
  • Forward requests for quotations to the Bids and Proposals/Technical Marketing group and ensure that they are submitted in a timely manner to the customer in a clear and precise manner.
  • Maintain close liaison with technical and project personnel regarding any quotations that involve an engineering input.
  • Maintain communication with the Network Operations centre and be involved in any customer liaison on service issues.
  • Produce a weekly report to the Vice President of Sales detailing calls made and appointments scheduled in the calendar.
Qualifications
  • At least 10 years experience in the Oil & Gas market.
  • At least 10 years experience in sales.
  • Degree in a related field.
  • Postgraduate studies or MBA.
  • Analytical with strong modelling and optimisation skills.
  • Self‑starter with experience getting going with little supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with prospects, clients and internal personnel.
  • Highly energetic and able to handle demanding situations in a professional manner.
  • Ability to establish long‑lasting relationships with clients.
  • Ability to determine which opportunities to walk away from.
  • Ability to establish cross‑functional teams to fulfill customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a changing environment.
  • Strong time‑management skills.
  • Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, collaborative mindset and drive for results.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Portuguese.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
