Role Description

We are looking for a Food Engineer to support our Henderson, Nevada manufacturing operation.

This is a full-time Cargo focused on improving food production processes, supporting product development, optimizing manufacturing efficiency, and working closely with Production, Quality Assurance, R&D, and Operations.

The Food Engineer will help develop, test, improve, and scale food products while ensuring that production methods are efficient, consistent, safe, and aligned with Empresa quality standards.

This role requires someone who understands food manufacturing, food technology, process improvement, equipment performance, product consistency, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, improve, and optimize food production processes.

Support product development, testing, and scale-up from kitchen trials to full production.

Work with Production and Quality Assurance to ensure products meet food safety, quality, and customer requirements.

Analyze production performance, identify problems, and recommend practical solutions.

Improve process flow, yield, efficiency, consistency, and product quality.

Assist with troubleshooting production issues related to ingredients, formulation, equipment, packaging, and shelf life.

Support HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality control requirements.

Help document processes, procedures, specifications, and production standards.

Work with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and operational discipline.

Support innovation and sustainability initiatives when applicable.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.

Strong understanding of food manufacturing, food engineering, and food technology.

Experience with food production processes, product scale-up, and process optimization.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety programs, and quality control systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to review data, identify production issues, and recommend improvements.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned projects.

Experience in the food and beverage industry is required.

Experience with frozen meals, bakery, snacks, pita, sauces, or ready-to-eat food products is a plus.

Experience with sustainable food production practices is a plus.

Additional Requirements

Must be willing to relocate to the Las Vegas/Henderson, Nevada area.

Must already have U.S. work authorization, a valid U.S. visa, or legal ability to work in the Estados Unidos before applying.

Must be able to work on-site at the Henderson facility.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Must be hands-on and willing to work directly with production teams.
