About the Role

We are looking for a fast, performance-oriented Video Editor with strong storytelling instincts to create high-performing short-form content, like UGC content, for social media and paid advertising. This role goes beyond technical editing skills—the ideal candidate understands how to identify compelling angles, create strong hooks, and transform raw footage into engaging, conversion-focused videos.

You'll thrive in a fast-paced, high-output environment where speed, creativity, and continuous iteration are essential.

About the Client

They are an exclusive e-commerce founder community that connects successful Amazon, DTC, and marketplace sellers to share strategies, resources, and networking opportunities to scale their businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for paid advertising, UGC videos, and social media platforms.
• Review raw footage and/or transcripts to identify the strongest story angle.
• Create compelling hooks that capture attention within the Primeira few seconds.
• Structure content into engaging, high-performing narratives.
• Produce multiple iterations based on feedback while maintaining quick turnaround times.
• Collaborate with the creative team to continuously improve video performance.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, analyze content, and generate creative ideas.
• Monitor creative performance and apply learnings to future edits.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to turn raw footage into engaging narratives.
• Experience creating short-form content for paid ads, UGC, performance marketing, or social media.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fast turnaround times and ability to manage high-volume creative production.
• Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, audience retention, and performance-driven editing.
• Excellent organizational skills and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience filming content using professional cameras or smartphones.
• Willing to occasionally come to the US for corporate events.
• Familiarity with direct-response advertising and creative testing.
• Experience using AI tools (e.G., ClaudeRunway, Kling AI, Higgsfield, Nano Banana or similar) to improve creative workflows and productivity.
• Background working with lifestyle, consumer, or high-energy brands.
