About the Cargo:
We are looking for a User Research Analyst/Senior Analyst who is committed and passionate about understanding people behaviour, taste and also about gaming! This role will be responsible for organizing, and executing researches with different methodologies aiming to provide actionable reports in order to improve Garena gaming portfolio.

Responsibilities:
Support the planning and execution of research studies using surveys, interviews, usability tests, playtests, and other methods Assist in recruiting and screening research participants Conduct moderated and unmoderated research sessions under guidance from senior researchers Take detailed notes, transcribe sessions, and organize raw research data Help analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns, player preferences, and pain points Contribute to research reports and presentations with clear, concise findings Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, publishing) to understand research needs Maintain research documentation, templates, and knowledge repositories Stay curious about research methodologies, gaming trends, and player motivations, turning curiosity into actions and attain a deeper understanding of the topicsMain job requirements:
Superior/higher degree completed; 1-3 years of experience in user research, UX research, market research, or a related field Basic understanding of qualitative methods (interviews, usability testing) and quantitative methods (surveys, data analysis) Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to summarize findings clearly Detail-oriented with good organizational and note-taking skills Collaborative mindset — comfortable working with different teams and taking feedback Genuine interest in games with a willingness to learn about gaming culture and player motivations Familiarity with basic research tools (Google Forms, survey platforms, spreadsheets) Adherence to all core values (high commitment to the work, go the extra mile pursuing excellence, stay humble) Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written) Familiarity with AI tools (Chat GPT, Gemini) and openness to develop AI-assisted research skills Experience in or passion for the gaming/entertainment industry Available to work in hybrid work model at our office in São Paulo, SP.Nice to Have:
